Comprehensive College Counseling Services

Senior Year Productions’ College Preparation program is designed to support students through a comprehensive, personalized approach as they prepare for higher education. Students receive one-on-one counseling focused on academic planning, goal setting, college selection, and navigating the admissions process. These individualized sessions ensure each student receives guidance tailored to their unique needs and aspirations.

Our program also provides access to SAT and ACT tutoring, helping students strengthen test-taking skills, build confidence, and improve performance.College tours are a key component of the College Preparation experience. Through organized campus visits, students can explore academic programs, campus life, and postsecondary options firsthand. Together, these supports equip students with the knowledge, preparation, and confidence needed to pursue higher education successfully.

Community service is a core component of Senior Year Productions and an essential part of student leadership development. Students are required to actively give back through both group and individual service opportunities, including tutoring kindergarten through third-grade students. These experiences allow students to develop responsibility, empathy, and leadership skills while making a meaningful impact in their communities. Through service, students learn the importance of investing in others and becoming leaders who contribute positively to their world.

Senior Year Productions Summer Intensive Programs are designed to prepare students academically, socially, and personally before entering their senior year. These structured experiences focus on college readiness, career exploration, leadership development, and goal setting. During the summer intensives, students participate in workshops, assessments, and group discussions that help clarify future goals, strengthen self-advocacy skills, and establish expectations for the year ahead. The summer intensives serve as a strong foundation for success throughout the program. 

Our program provides individualized support throughout the financial aid process, including assistance with completing the FAFSA and CSS Profile and exploring options such as grants, loans, and work-study programs. In addition, students and families are offered financial aid and scholarship workshops designed to simplify the college funding process through guided FAFSA support, scholarship search strategies, and practical financial planning for college.

Senior Year Productions continues to support students beyond high school through ongoing mentorship during their college journey. Students are connected with mentors who provide guidance, encouragement, and accountability as they navigate academic expectations, personal growth, and life transitions. This continued mentorship helps students remain focused, build confidence, and advocate for themselves as they adjust to the demands of higher education.
